The Hidden Oasis trail is a short and scenic hike that leads to a serene natural spot surrounded by rocky cliffs and lush greenery. This peaceful trail is perfect for those who love exploring hidden gems in the mountains without taking on a tough climb. Along the way, you’ll pass through dry riverbeds (wadis) and enjoy the refreshing sight of the small oasis tucked between the Mountain, a beautiful reward at the end of the hike.This hike starts bottom of Jabel Jais down wadi called Khammad, you walk through beautiful balcony to witness the amazing view of the Jais Road.

Travel & Difficulties

From Downtown Dubai, it takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the Hidden Oasis trailhead. The trail is easy level, suitable for beginners, families, and casual hikers looking for a relaxing outdoor experience.

DAY 1- Departure at 6:30 AM Hatta Border Pass & Al Hoqain Pools Our journey begins with a splash! We dive straight into Day One with a refreshing swim in crystal-clear turquoise pools, hidden like jewels within the rugged landscape. After drying off, the real adventure begins as we navigate the legendary hair-raising bends of Wadi Bani Awf—one of Oman’s most spectacular off-road drives. As the sun begins to dip, we’ll reach the "fairytale" village of Bilad Sayt. Tucked away in a mountain amphitheater, this ancient terraced village will be our home for the night, offering a peaceful escape under a canopy of stars.

DAY 2

DAY 2-Snake Gorge Abseiling adventure Today we gonna do Snake Gorge (Wadi Bani Awf) is called the crown jewel of Omani canyoneering, offering a high-octane journey through a narrow, winding limestone crack in the Hajar Mountains.This is a "wet" canyon experience. Expect a series of exhilarating cliff jumps (up to 6 meters), natural water slides, and technical abseiling (rappelling) down sheer rock faces into deep, turquoise pools.Thecanyon walls are taller than 100 meters. Overnight at Machame Camp.
